I recall there was a thread where the issue of side effects were discussed. For me, even 5 mg of tadalfil gives me a nasty headache for a day and a half. Never tried sildenafil but I am experimenting with vardenafil that's been in my stash. Whether 5, 10 or 20 mg, I experience a mild headache, nasal congestion and dyspepsia. Do side effects with the aforementioned drugs or this particular drug eventually decrease or even disappear, particularly the headache and dyspepsia? Took 20 mg this morning and after 4 hours, just side effects. I'm aware, too, that all of those drugs call for physical stimulation for them to work. I've read some men claiming the contrary. That's some men, and they might be exceptions. In the clinical trials of Viagra, when it was being researched as a medication for coronary artery disease, men taking it got spontaneous erections. Stop the presses!!! It would be so convenient to take a pill, but not if I'm going to feel lousy for a day. Thanks.

I know what you mean. Cialis makes me feel unwell. Headache. Lethargic. Bad mood. Muscle pains. It feels almost like I'm getting sick.

Thanks guys. Actually got two strong erections but my the back of head was throbbing. Not conducive to sex, LOL. It's almost 8:30 a.m. and I still have a bit of headache and my stomach is still messed up. The kicker was that this morning my wife and I were hugging and I started to get a semi-erection.
Regarding lower dosing, I used to buy liquid tadalifil from Blue Sky Peptide. Tried titrating at 1 mg or so. Still got a mild headache, stuffy nose, heartburn and irritability. My urologist offered to prescribe PT-141. $125 from Empower. I know I can buy it online for half the price but purity, potency and working with my doctor are all important. Compared to Trimix, it sounds better, since, if it works for me, I might have erections on and off for a few days.

Thanks. Actually do have feverfew. Used to take it for migraines. That said, I just felt sick all day, along with significant irritability and moodiness. As I wrote, a PDE-5 inhibitor is so convenient but even in the clinical studies, 30% of men are either non-responders or the side effects outweigh the benefits. I'm the same with psychiatric meds; side effects and no beneficial effects.
I have been taking cialis on and off for years. The full 20 mg dose gives me unbearable headaches. I can tolerate 5mg daily but after a few days it builds up enough in the system where I start getting chronic mild headaches. 5 mg is not good enough for intercourse unfortunately, I just take it to get some blood flowing down there for health purposes. FYI the troches are the best form I have taken.

Same for me with viagra. Very bad mood swings. Headaches.
There are some valid studies on how viagra can alter mood in some people for a day or two after ingested.
I recently tried Stendra and it worked well with little side effects.
Haven't been able to find generic yet and it's pricey otherwise.

Most of my experiences with Viagra/Cialis really depends on the concentration from the manufacturer and the form. Tablet based Tadalafil is stronger than BlueChew form. Also the gummy always produce the less side effect. My favs now is that Cialis+Viagra+APO combo in a gummy.
Where do you get the gummy’s prescribed from ?
Several years ago, my urologist gave me some Stendra samples. Maybe I took it twice. Didn't work but it made me quite manic.

This is just an anecdotal experience.
I have portable oxygen at home. Few times when I tried to use it , after 10-15 minutes I got a huge natural erection that last as long as I use the machine
Just saying, it's all a vascular issue sometimes.....

Yes it is. Envious of men who can take a PDE-5 inhibitor, irrespective of dose, and get good results with few or no side effects. I'm prone to migraines and my doctor in Maryland told me to stay away from them, but I figured I owe ti to myself to try again. As Einstein said, "It's insanity to keep doing the same experiment and expect different results." Or the quote is something close to that.
One interesting note. If I take my injection at 10 a.m., sometimes at 10 at night, I get a solid erection, along with strong deisre, that lasts for about 15 or 20 minutes. Taking the shot early in the morning or at other times during the day doesn't produce that strong of a response. It's a puzzle, except it might be related to malfunction of the HPTA, which is also related to my bipolar illness.
