First labs after starting TRT - WOW!

My hematocrit was 0.55 with a normal range of 0.40 to 0.54. It is only slightly too high. My doctor didn't seem concerned about it. I'll post my full labs in the future. Very much appreciate your feedback.

I'm also a bit confused how a dose of 120mg/week can have such a dramatic effect. It seems like many people are on higher doses than that. I guess every ones chemistry and situation is different.

When using exogenous T many factors can come into play when it comes to what dose of T is needed to achieve a healthy FT level.

The dose T, SHBG level, injection frequency, metabolism, the sensitivity of the AR, polymorphism of the AR, and CAG repeat length (long/short), bodyweight.

What were your levels on 14 daily ?
On the Madman preferred Quest Labs it was roughly 1100TT and 250FT that is why I went down to 12mg. I will retest and see but I think could end up at 10mg. Less is way better in all areas for me. Better sleep, Libido and BP-HR. At 59 I do not have to worry about being over stimulated the next 30 plus years.

This is encouraging; I'm starting at 18mg TC EOD.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
