YOUNG MAN HAS TUMOR? ON PITUITARY, LOW T/ENERGY/BRAIN FOG

A young man I know has been told there is a small growth or tumor on his pituitary gland and that explains his symptoms and his abnormally low testosterone production.
He has been put on 200mg Cypionate/week and feels much better.
Jay Campbell mentions a very routine procedure for the the pituitary in his TRT Manual (p 87).
Does anyone have any insight into what Jay is refering to? Doctors who are accomplished with respect to this?
Risks/successes?
Thanks for any assistance, we live in the Northeast.

Welcome to Excel.

I can't say I know any members who are on 200mg weekly and this protocol may prove to be too much in the months to come, the majority of men would eventually have to lower the dosage do to rising HCT and or estrogen levels.

I have the TOT bible and am unaware what Jay is referring to as well, but I'm sure if you shoot Jay an email he should respond.

Glad to hear your friend I feeling better.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
