Mountain Man, I have a bit of a different, yet related question. My situation is I generally am not anxious at all and I have never suffered with depression. However, I am a shift worker and police officer and at times, will suffer with pretty bad insomnia which does lead to a degree of anxiety of course. As the years have gone on, I have pretty much figured the bulk of my problem out to be essentially sleep anxiety (worry about health, worry about getting enough sleep, worrying about being able to fall asleep etc). The shift work triggered this problem initially and still has a hand in it I am sure, but the issue is more an internal one for me now. CBT looks to be an effective way to help address this. Which of your books would be most appropriate for me to start working on my unique situation?
