I started testosterone 20.25 mg/1.25 gram (1.62 %) gel 1 pump on each arm in April and increased to 2 pumps or arm in May with increased T Levels up to 707 in October. T gel caused atrophy so started 20 units of HCG and gradually increased to 40. Now "again" experiencing reduced energy and increased tiredness and decreased libido since originally starting TRT which seemed to supercharge everything. T Levels have dropped in recent months as is now evident in last 2 test results Reached out to Dr and this was his response. In 8/2020 your testosterone measured 707 and it appears you are on the same dose of AndroGel at that time. On testosterone gel, your testosterone will sometimes vary depending on how long you waited to get lab work done after applying gel... So that is probably the reason your levels have varied. Appled 2 pumps of T-gel daily to both arms since my 6/17/20 reading of 342. My last reading of 328 on 1/14/21 is lower than that of 6 months ago and I have labs drawn 4 hours after applying the gel. I have an apt on Tuesday with the doctor but what do I do to increase my T numbers back to the 700 plus range and what should my conversation with the dr look like? I feel ok with the gel and can function but i can tell that my energy and drive have decreased. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do? Do I change my protocol or do I change application methods? Here are my results from day one! Lab Range for T Level 264 - 916 ng/dL 1/14/2021 Testosterone 328 ng/dL 10/8/2020 Testosterone 471 ng/dL 8/20/2020 Testosterone 707 ng/dL 8/20/2020 Free testosterone (Direct) 23.6 pg/mL 7.2 - 24.0 pg/mL 8/20/2020 Sex Hormone Binding Globulin 17.8 nmol/L 19.3 - 76.4 nmol/L 6/17/2020 Testosterone 342 ng/dL 3/30/2020 Testosterone 189 ng/dL 2/28/2020 Testosterone 229 ng/dL 348 - 1,197 ng/dL - Lab Corp 1/14 HGB 14.8 g/dL 13.0 - 17.7 g/dL 10/8 HGB 14.1 g/dL 13.0 - 17.7 g/dL 1/14/2021 HCT 45.80% 37.5 - 51.0 % 10/8/2020 HCT 42.60% 37.5 - 51.0 % 10/8/2020 Estradiol, Sensitive 16.2 pg/mL 8.0 - 35.0 pg/mL 3/30/2020 Estradiol, Sensitive 15.4 pg/mL 8.0 - 35.0 pg/ml 10/8/2020 Luteinizing hormone 0.5 mIU/mL 1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL 3/30/2020 Luteinizing hormone 5.2 mIU/mL 1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL 10/8/2020 FSH 0.3 mIU/mL 1.5 - 12.4 mIU/mL 3/30/2020 FSH 3.9 mIU/mL 1.5 - 12.4 mIU/mL 8/20/2020 Prolatin 10.2 ng/m 4.0 - 15.2ng/mL 6/17/2020 Prolatin 10.5 ng/m 4.0 - 15.2ng/mL 3/30/2020 Prolatin 23.2 ng/m 4.0 - 15.2ng/mL
