We performed a randomized-control-trial assessing the effect of cholecalciferol/calcium on skeletal-muscle strength and serum testosterone in vitamin-D deficient young males. Six-months of cholecalciferol/calcium supplementation had no significant effect on skeletal-muscle strength and serum testosterone in young adult males.
