I didn't take them for years because of the blindness claim. Then after not hearing anything about that for years, I wondered if it was even proven, and I could find nothing saying that it was. And I looked just now for amputation cases (which I had never heard claimed), and I don't see anything.
I don't criticize your decision though. I definitely understand the belief that nothing is worth even the slightest risk to one's eyesight or one's penis.
