Update on my journey...and my new meds.

Well had my meeting with my new doc here in the Uk....full panel of labs done.
But that old chestnut the E2 test has reared its head again.
It looks as though the E2 test that was ran was the usual female one that did not register an E2 reading for.
But my HDL has dropped and LDL risen so I am guessing the Arimidex I have been running for 3 mths has dropped my E2 to low....so i have stopped running the 2 x .5mg per week and started Niacin therapy to improve things.
My test & free test were 22.6 & 18.4 ...been feeling pretty good so I thought I was on track.
My new doc which happens to be a leading London, Harley St Doc has tweaked my therapy.
My protocol will be the same as before, morning & evening applications of 50mg...but cream rather than the gel I have been running.
My new treatment is now 2 x 50mg of T with 5mg of added Progesterone and a 50mg DHEA cap every morning.
My labs showed my levels were low on both the P & D counts so her theory is to correct these levels and see how I feel.

Next meeting is in 8 weeks to assess where I am.
Still got my concerns about this E2 test ...as this clinic is one of the leading specialists in the UK & the only way they could get a E2 sensitive test done was send the labs across to America.

(Which I may have to insist on next time around as I know this is critical in getting my treatment spot on....)
One very positive aspect is the clinic owns their own compounding chemist so things can be fine tuned accordingly.

Start my new meds on Monday so this should get interesting.

Cheers guys

Ps : my SHBG was 29 so it looks as though the Nettle root is doing its job.
