TRT and exercise-- does it use your T faster?

I am TRT on a once weekly protocol right now. I go to the gym to work out--- usually weight lifting, but super heavy lifting.

Question--- I know that exercise is supposed to help increase your body's natural T level. But if you are on TRT which meas your body is no longer producing its on T, does exercise or lifting use up the T level in your body faster? In other words, is it using up the injected T in my body and causing my levels to decrease faster until next injection?

Testosterone is a use it or lose it hormone. Whether it just is processed out of your system naturally as you sit a sedentary life or used up stimulating muscle growth it’s not like you can store it up if you haven’t used it. This idea sounds dangerously close to those nofap idiots that pollute Reddit, and make testosterone threads over there unbearable.

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't even get on the Reddit website. I,m just asking an honest question because I'm still learning about testosterone. I used to work out quite regularly before I moved 1 1/2 years ago and haven't gotten back into it regularly yet, and this question crossed my mind. So if I understand you, you are saying that the body uses T the same way regardless of whether you work out a little or a lot or not at all?

right

Maybe this study will help:
Effects of resistance training on testosterone metabolism in younger and older men
This study further showed that [resistance training] may have acute effect on T production and clearance rates, while the exercise-induced increases in serum T appeared to be induced by decreased metabolic clearance rate of T.
Exercise actually reduces metabolic clearance of T. The implication is that it would also work for guys on TRT, temporarily raising serum T.
