Topical Androsterone

Just wondering if anyone on the forum has experience with topical androsterone? I'm looking at buying a product (Alpha Gains 1-Andro TD) that contains 100mg of androsterone per ml. I'm looking to try it for its purported mental benefits. Wikipedia claims androsterone acts as a PAM of the GABAA receptor, so should be calming as well as mood boosting.

I am currently using Ideal Labs' topical Androsterone. 4-5 drops to the scrotum and 1 drop to the naval right after my morning shower and I am completely dry. I let it dry about 5 minutes before pulling on underwear and undershirt.

I have been doing this for about three weeks and feel very androgenic on it. High libido, erections all night long, lots of sexy dreams. I am using it specifically to cause more beard and body hair growth, I think it's too early to know if it is doing anything.

Interesting! I see they provide it in two different solvents (SFA esters, anhydrol (ethanol) or tocopherols SFAOA), which one are you using?

Currently using the one with the ethanol carrier because it evaporates quickly and doesn't leave a residue behind. The time I ordered I accidentally got the tocopherol version which is kind of thick and oily and harder to apply topically. I ended up finishing that bottle off sublingually (put a couple of drops on my finger and put it under my tongue) but I don't know if that is effective at all.

My sex drive and confidence have been very high. I am growing a lot of new hair all over my shoulders and chest and stomach.
