Lilly Puerto Rico 235 Federico Costa Street Parque Las Américas I, Suite 401 San Juan, Puerto Rico 00918 +1-787-753-7070 My ex works in the pharmaceutical industry. She she used to work in regulatory. A drug that is sold in the U.S. is under the scrutiny of the FDA. It is not the same thing as a drug that is manufactured in India. While there are generics that are manufactured in India by companies such as Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, those drugs and their manufacturing processes are under the scrutiny of the FDA. I am not saying that everything that ships from India is garbage. I am just saying that one never really knows what one is getting. It is a buyer beware situation. The FDA exists for a reason.
