An interesting topic would be why some men with single digit SHBG levels have no negative symptoms whatsoever on TRT while others do. This implies the action of SHBG helping to facilitate hormone action on target tissue may differ between individuals.

The thing that confuses me is if some men with low SHBG on TRT have symptoms of abundance, not a lack of hormone action, kind of throws off this notion that SHBG facilitates hormones actions on target tissue.

I just don’t see many men with low SHBG not responding to TRT, mostly an over response to T therapy. So you would expect increasing SHBG to make one less sensitive to hormones.
