The field of TRT and even more the field of peptides is evolving very quickly. If you read TRTs books from a few years back and you ask the same doctors today about some of the recommendations that they wrote back them they have changed their minds in some things. I'd go with Nelson's recommendation and start with Ipamorelin mono therapy if I were you and monitor your progress. Adjust based on that.
Yes, my IGF-1 was 100 in January 2018 and it is now 200. It has stayed at 200 since I'd say June 2018 after I used the CJC-1295/Ipamorelin combo. Once I moved to Defy and I switched to GHPR-2/Sermorelin it has not moved that much but that is a good number for me anyway I believe. The benefits I've seen, in combination with TRT, HCG, Lipotropics, supplements and a good diet and exercise has been a reduction of body fat % from 24% to 15%, a significant decrease in viceral fat and a significant increase in muscle. All my blood markers have improved ( except cortisol and prolactine, as mentioned below) Body comp measurements based on Dexa scans. And I was in decent shape (or I thought I was) before all this with a pretty good diet. I am 62 by the way. The one thing I have found out is that these peptides have side effects, regardless of how minor they are, and I believe the CJC-1295/Ipamorelin is a much better peptide combination than the GHPR-2/Sermorelin with fewer side effects ( mainly water retention, cortisol and prolactine increase). I am by no means an expert and I suggest that you do your own research. Sometimes even advise from experience users in forums, including this one, could be miss leading for your particular case.
