Photodynamic Therapy...PDT...pre-skin cancer

Has anyone here had photodynamic therapy for pre-skin cancer? Good results? My new dermatologist is recommending I have it done for some pre-cancerous spots on my head. Too much sun in my younger days! Or, if someone can direct me to a good forum that discusses this particular therapy, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Yes I had it end of last year.
It's a pretty easy procedure with little impact other than a red face and peeling for a day or two.
Does it work? Who knows. Is my skin any different looking? No.
What's the impact of creating free radicals on a large scale in your face? Um probably not good but doubt the vendors worry about that. I probably won't do it again.
