Androgen Study Group Urges Investigation Into Ethical Violations By JAMA Regarding Controversial Testosterone Study




Androgen Study Group alleges violations of "medical journal ethics and editorial integrity" regarding study reporting increased cardiovascular risks with testosterone. Claims JAMA misled the public by withholding information the study had misreported results, and failed to take appropriate action once it had "certain knowledge the study was invalid." Holds JAMA responsible for "unfounded concerns among millions of men treated appropriately for testosterone deficiency," and new area of medical malpractice.
