[QUOTE="FOX1, post: 69568, member: 15594"] New to this forum today; I am a reasonably fit 50 year old, who had an accident at work where I fractured my C6 - neck; and my T7 & T8 (back) it took 2 years to recover to the point that I am now returning to gym. During that time further tests were carried out and they found I had; osteopenia a medical condition in which the protein and mineral content of bone tissue is reduced, but less severely than in osteoporosis The fact I was taking high doses of MST (opiates) for pain during this time may have contributed to this condition, it certainly would not have helped. Blood tests were taken and testosterone was on the low but within limits; but free testosterone was close to non existent. I was started on one sachet 50mg Testo Gel and over 6 months with regular blood tests built up to 2 sachets per day (100mg) Testosterone levels now high teens low twenties (UK). I am now on a regular training program at a gym and also have free weights at home. I am starting to develop a good muscular shape but still have excess stomach fat and this is due to alcohol as I got into a pattern of nightly drinking. I am cutting down on drink (very difficult) as its like an addiction, im okay in the morning, but come night time im ready for another drink. I have started cycling 6 miles per day and possibly another 5 miles per day walking dogs, along with free weight work outs (Benching 70kg + Olympic bar) I have been told free weights and physical exercise is essential for building Bone Mass. Due to Testo Gel I have also found shrinkage in testicles, and a fair shrinkage at that. but regular morning erections and libido is fine. Testicle shrinkage is beginning to be a concern. Gym wise, I am now in a regular routine and increasing weights, obviously my main focus is increasing Bone Mass, I have to wait 2 years for next DEXA Scan (one year to go) so, I have joined here with a focus of increasing Bone Mass, Building Muscle, Increasing fitness and growing some balls.
