[QUOTE="willj427, post: 190084, member: 31785"] If I have this post in the wrong section, please let me know. I am requesting your inputs and advice based on my bloodwork and the recommendations I have received for Restarts. It has been 2 years since I inserted TRT pellets and about 1.5 years since my last HCG injection. At the time, wanted to see how my body responded naturally and did not do any type of Restart; I just let the trt pellets dissipate and did a few HCG shots. But I believe my body has not fully restarted naturally and have not been happy with the current testes size and semen volume; I basically want to get back to my pre-trt numbers and condition and looking to do a Restart. I am a 50 year old, BMI - 24.3, pretty active and works out on a regular basis. Prior to TRT treatment had brain fog, stressed, joint pain, zero libido and just did not feel right. I was and still am going through some internal stress with marriage. Although looking back on the last 2 years, my relationship probably had more of an impact on my hormones then anything else. Long story short, my stress level from many things, including dealing with my blood work and my current relationship is very high. In July, 2018 inserted pellets: 1400mg and 16mg Anastrozole. About a week or two after insertion I started to feel better, have better work outs, etc, and about three weeks after insertion I noticed atrophy so doctor gave me HCG (25mL, 3 times a week), which helped the atrophy. I did not like the side effects of the TRT overall, so I decided to not continue with TRT and let it fade out of my body, but still used HCG for a bit. I never did a restart, but rather wanted to see how my body recovered naturally. It has been 2 years since the pellets were inserted and I have had a lot of blood work test to show progression. Doctor Restart Recommendations: The two recommendations for Restarts I have received from urologists have been: Doctor #1 1st month: 2000 IU HCG 3 x per week 1 mg Anastrozole 2 x per week 2nd month: 1000 IU 3 x per week 1 mg Anastrozole 2 x per week 3rd month: 500 IU 3 x per week 1 mg Anastrozole 2 x per week Doctor #2 12.5 mg Clomid by mouth every day for 6 weeks 0.125 mg Anastrozole by mouth every other day for 6 weeks Blood Work History: 2 months prior to TRT pellets Total T: 662 (250 - 1100 ng/dL) Free T: 64.9 (35.0 - 155 pg/mL) SHBG: 50 (10 - 50 nmol/L) LH: Not Tested Estradiol: 31 (< 39 pg/mL) FSH: 4.0 (1.6 - 8.0 mIU/mL) TRT + 2 months Total T: 1113H (250 - 827 ng/dL) Free T: 197.1 (46.0 - 224.0 pg/mL) SHBG: 37 (10 - 50 nmol/L) LH: 6.2 (1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL) Estradiol: 66H (< 39 pg/mL) FSH: Not Tested TRT + 9 months Total T: 687.5 (264 - 916 ng/dL) Free T: 13.4 (6.8 - 21.5 pg/mL) SHBG: 49.3 (16.5 - 55.9 nmol/L) LH: Not Tested Estradiol: 24.9 (8.0 - 35.0 pg/mL) FSH: Not Tested TRT + 1 year and 6 months Total T: 467 (264 - 916 ng/dL) Free T: 10.1 (6.8 - 21.5 pg/nL) SHBG: 46.3 (16.5 - 55.9 nmol/L) LH: Not Tested Estradiol: 22.9 (8.0 - 35.0 pg/mL) FSH: Not Tested TRT + 1 year and 10 months Total T: 551 (264 - 916 ng/dL) Free T: 11.7 (7.2 - 24.0 pg/nL) SHBG: 44.6 (19.3 - 76.4 nmol/L) LH: 6.0 (1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL) Estradiol: Not Tested FSH: 3.6 (1.5 - 12.4 mIU/mL) TRT + 2 years and 2 months Total T: 514 (264 - 916 ng/dL) Free T: 7.2 (7.2 - 24.0 pg/mL) SHBG: 50.7 (19.3 - 76.4 nmol/L) LH: 5.3 (1.7 - 8.6 mIU/mL) Estradiol: 20.6 (7.6 - 42.6 pg/mL) FSH: 4.3 (1.5 - 12.4 mIU/mL) Thank you in advance for your inputs and recommendations.
