New to site. Who is a good doctor in Houston to see for Low T

I am a 50 year old male who has never has a prostate exam and I need to get it checked. I also, have self administered test Ethanate about 100 a week and do fine on it. I am just wanting to see a doctor and get everything checked out.

Is there somebody this forum recommends in the Houston area?

To echo what Nelson said............PrimeBody has a local doctor here in Houston near I-10 and Beltway 8......top urologist would be Dr. Lippschulz in the medical center.

Yes, Barrios and Johnston do. Johnston is also good at thyroid, adrenals, etc

I will be reaching out to Dr. John Johnston come monday. My TRT is is pretty much dialed in, but my adrenals are trash right now, and have been for a long time. Main motive for searching out a new provider is insurance. I dont mind paying out of pocket, but if I can get the same quality treatment under my insurance, then I may as well do so.

My urologist, who put me on Clomid last year for low T has retired. Looking for a new doctor but one that also specializes in BPH, as I am starting to have issues (dribbling, frequent urination at night, low back/groin pain). Would appreciate updated recommendations - if any.

Nelson, thanks for the referral. I had my 1st appt with Dr. Khera yesterday and got off to a great start. Have an ultrasound scheduled for next week, already started some meds to help with BPH, but waiting on the results of blood work to determine if there will be any hormone treatment.
