[QUOTE="Seanc34, post: 180823, member: 40956"] Hi All, Thank you for viewing my post and I'm happy you have found this community. I recieved my second lab results yesterday and wanted some feedback on how to proceed next. I took a test a few months ago, but ignorantly only tested total testosterone, which came back at 395 ng/dl (264-916 range). Note that both tests were taken at 9AM My levels from my second test were as following Total: 418 ng/dl , range of 250-1100 Free: 68.1 pg/ml, range of 35-155 I'm a 28M and have reading the list of low t symptoms sounds like my life. I go to the gym 5x a week and mix in both weights and cardio. Eat pretty clean but just can't get in great shape(zero fast food, no soda, but im trying to cut down carbs). More importantly, I have low libido and strange motivational/focus issues that weren't present when I was younger. I've had physicians prescribe me Adderall, xanax and Anti-depressants(not at the same time) to try and solve my issues. None of these seems to address my root issue so ive discontinued and am searching for answers. I struggle with sleep and even when I get 8 hours I'm exhausted after a few hours of work. Sleep study has ruled out sleep apnea. Luckily. I've been able to overcome this for the most part and have a great career and am also currently in grad school on the weekends. I feel like I'm getting worse and its effecting not only my quality of life but that of my significant other, whom I want to propose to next summer. Thus, I'm here. My results are within normal range but from what I can find do seem to be lower for a 28 year old. Important to note that I do take finadteride for hairloss however have only been on for 3 months and I've had all the symptoms since high school. I have an appointment with a urologist in a few weeks but I'm not feeling confident due to my results being in normal range. Any advice on how to discuss with the provider is appreciated. One important note: We plan to have kids in the next three-four years. Any advice in this area is appreciated (ive begun looking at freezing some sperm) I hope that I can avoid TRT, as I know its a huge decision with permanent consequences, but im willing to do it if it means living an enjoyful life.
