One of the perils of coming to the forums for advice is that you will get a lot of different recommendations and information, sometimes quite contradictory. The half-life of testosterone cypionate in standard formulations is actually closer to five days, and typically one waits at least four to five half-lives before trying to see what serum levels are doing. Overall effects certainly can take a lot longer: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3188848/ A starting dose of 50 mg TC per week is low but not unreasonably so.
