The LH and FSH should have been done before starting TRT once you start TRT it suppresses TSH/LH and you will no longer have a accurate reading. Also get thyroid checked like coastwatch said. If you have good insurance I would try another clinic but do some research in the stickys on this website to educate yourself, if not I would try defy because your will most likely save money in the long run and a lot less headaches unless anyone on here in your area can make any other recommendations good luck!

Your entire situation is a mess. Why were no thyroid tests run (TSH, T3, T4, RT3)? Was LH and FSH captured - to see if you had either primary or secondary hypogonadism? Estradiol? Seiously, you are working with a doctor who is doing you no favours.

I strongly second this comment.

I'm another 30yr old looking to sort myself out through supplementation and lifestyle rather than TRT. TRT should not be doled out so freely to young guys, shame on your doctor.

Hopefully get the correct blood tests? Why don't you just call Defy Medical, and get everything done right the first time?

Your current Doctor is clueless (and that's being kind), and is certainly not helping you. Take all the guesswork out of finding a new doctor that can actually help you, and call Defy for Christ's sake. You won't regret it.
