Labcorp mix up

I did a lab for Testosterone LC/MS at Labcorp last week and still haven’t received results. They notified me that they originally ran the wrong test and had to retest the sample so it will take longer. Will this affect my results because it has been tested already or has been sitting for more than 7 days? For reference I drew blood June 4th, they noticed the error June 8th, and received the sample for re testing June 9th. Still waiting. They accidentally ran an immunoassay the first time

If the blood stayed cold, there should be no issues with the accuracy. If there is, they will make you do another blood draw.

Only once did I have to do a second blood draw. It was because the blood did not stay cool.

How would they know if the result is accurate and the blood stayed cool?

I really don't know, how they know. But once after having a blood draw. A week later, I was informed that I had to do my blood draw over again. Reason, blood was warm.

Got the results and they were 641 which seems legit compared to former results. Hopefully it’s accurate
