This is merely my inconclusive hypothesis based on my experience in the last month when I started increasing AI doses to find my "sweet spot". If I could actually control my sex drive in such a predictable manner, that would be insanely amazing!! I have found that my sex drive largely depends on the amount of AIs I am taking. If I am taking none = Very unstable sex drive. (This is what I have been doing for the first few years, but I have not done this in a while.) Some days super high sex drive, some days none at all. I never liked this unpredictability, and haven't done this in like 2 years. If I am taking 2-3 AIs a week = (most of the time) Sex drive is relatively stable and high, I feel the need to masturbate 2-3 (sometimes 4) times a day. Often hard to focus on responsibilities unless I completely ignore it. If I am taking 5-6 AIs a week (I did this in the past two weeks) = Sex drive drops to 0. My energy levels are fine, my mood is fine. Don't feel moody or anything or more tired than usual. Simply just don't feel like fucking. No erections, zilch. I tried looking at porn and it bored me. Didn't touch myself for a full week when I did this. On day 7 I finally engaged in sexual activity, and it was great and very pleasurable. But I could have just as easily not engaged. In the week and a half where my sex drive dropped to 0, I was honestly VERY worried that something is seriously wrong with me (I immediately thought cancer LOL). I did not connect it to taking more AIs (because I ran bloods and my estradiol was actually high despite taking more AIs, so I assumed it could not be that). I started this week with less AIs, and my sex drive IMMEDIATELY shot up again!!! Is there anything wrong with taking more AIs when I want the same level of T in my system but do not want to deal with daily sexual arousals, if say, I need to focus on things for a long while etc? Has anyone else controlled their sex drive this way? Is doing this at all unhealthy?
