[QUOTE="KenLowT, post: 147943, member: 18755"] This totally depends on you. I can speak from experience in that I have suffered a general mild anxiety throughout my entire life. The type of anxiety I had never really interfered with life. I was never hiding under a table or refusing to go to work or school. Mine was an anxiety that I felt internally throughout my body whenever an unexpected stressor came up. Where my anxiety did effect me the most was in the bedroom. I had major performance anxiety; add the fact that I felt stress overall in my life it really put me over the top. I started TRT because I thought I had a low libido due to low T. I had lower numbers for my age and I struggled with my weight pre SSRI's. I tried TRT for a year and never gained a sustainable libido. It did help me in the gym with strength, however it never did anything to calm my general anxiety. That's when I realized that the anxiety was causing all of my issues, not my low T. I remembered how I felt on a low dose SSRI and missed that. I went to my shrink, she prescribed me a low dose SSRI and ever since then I've been clear minded, relaxed, and I'm not worried about sexual performance anymore. I finally feel like myself and that's what I was hoping with TRT. Everybody is different, but you have to ask yourself, have you always had some kind of low level anxiety or did it happen all of a sudden? Not to overgeneralize, but if you are the former than maybe a low dose SSRI will work for you and if you're the latter you should try TRT. I am currently in the HPTA restart protocol. So far I've had no horrible side effects from getting off TRT. I was so worried about getting considering the stories I've read on here, but so far so good. I completed my 3 weeks of HCG only and now I'm on week 2 of 12.5mg of Clomid EOD. I do get hot flashes at times, but I knew that going into this because I took Clomid before. This dosage is low enough where I only feel it 1x2 times per day. When I was on 25mg ED with my endo I was getting like 7 or 8 of them.
