For whatever reason there are these periods of time where I just don't have the time or desire to go to the gym. How long can I avoid the gym before some of the gains are lost?
I think it depends if you are a conditioned person or not. In my case I have been working out since I was 21 (I am 54) and injecting testosterone since I was 28. I have had to take a month break due to back surgery and testosterone kept me from losing much of my lean body mass.
Went back in yesterday after two weeks off and I was stronger in all upper body movements except for lats. (I always have rapid gains w/ lat movements). Thank god for testosterone!!!!
