High SHBG and low insulin

Hello, guys!

Do you have any ideas how to low SHBG and what is the reason in my case? I have no any problems with liver (good tests), alcohol etc. May be the reason is my low insulin, but my sugar is also in normal range.

My last results:

- testosterone 14.81 nmol/l (ref 10,4-37)
- SHBG 80.8 (13-71)
- IFA = 18,3% (23-103)
- Prolactin 4.6 (2.1-17.7)
- cortisol 11.8 (3-18)
- estradiol 27 (12-39)
- somatomedin S - 152 ng/ml (116-358)
- noradrenaline 388 ng/l (<600)
- adrenaline 143 ng/l (<125)
- DHEA-S =168,5 (120-520)
- Insulin 2.3 (3-25)
- Sugar 4.5 (4.1-6)
- HOMA Index 0.5 (<2.5)
- HBA1C 5% (4.8-5.9%)

I will be grateful for any suggestions and comments

It is thought that supplemental Vitamin D helps to lower SHBG. Are you on TRT now? Testosterone itself in high-normal ranges can help to lower as well.

Thank you for your reply!
I take Vitamin D for 1 month and don't see any progress.
No, I'm not on TRT, and don't want to start it, because I'm just 30. Want to find the reason and fix it.
I heard that low insulin can cause high SHBG, so it is in my situation I think...

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
