As @Type_IIx has covered elsewhere and I think Nelson has referenced in regard to Oxandrolone, the difference between AAS compounds is large and supports what @Cataceous is saying, although with less data on the recently introduced forms. For example there was a study that showed Oxandrolone (alone without a SERM) at what I would consider a medium dose, much higher than what OP would need to start with, only suppressed T by about 40% IIRC. Testosterone is one of the most suppressive compounds, but intermittent dosing at low levels apparently moderates the suppression. "Shutdown" vs incremental suppression are related but completely different. The idea the "T always shuts you down" came from the mega-dose community. Unfortunately for the oral forms, much of the data which is crowd-sourced for more widely available compounds is hidden behind proprietary providers.
