What damage does this do to the kidneys over time.</p><p></p><p style="margin-left: 20px">The ACCORD trial found that treating to a systolic</p> <p style="margin-left: 20px">blood pressure of less than 120 mm Hg increased</p> <p style="margin-left: 20px">adverse events attributed to blood pressure medications</p> <p style="margin-left: 20px">(RR = 2.58; 95% CI, 1.70 to 3.91), resulting</p> <p style="margin-left: 20px">in a number needed to harm of 50 over 4.7 years.28</p></blockquote><p></p>
