HCG for hiv muscle wasting

Does anyone tried HCG for hiv muscle wasting? I dont wanna use Deca yet since it will stop the natural testosterone production and we dont know yet the long term effects of it.

I'm wondering if i can use HCG and Nolvadex together with my hiv meds to help raise my testosterone levels

IM 29 years old, 8 months hiv poz, currently on hiv meds and lost 15 pounds.

Would need to know your LH/FSH, and hormone panel...if you're secondary hypo (problem is the testes), HCG (mono) isn't going to be of much use.

I agree with Vince. You look very young. Did you actually get diagnosed with low T? You also do not look in that pic that you are wasting.

HCG monotherapy can also shut down your HPT axis. You may bounce back after stopping it but it will take some time. We have no data on the HPTA recovery process in young men who are or are not hypogonadal at baseline.

Nolvadex decreases IGF-1 and I would not use it for wasting.
