I have been on 5mg of tadalafil for several years for BPH. It has helped more than Flomax or any other medication I have tried for BPH; especially Finasteride which almost rendered my impotent for life!! I have never fully recovered from the adverse effects of that horrible drug.I also use 4mg of Terazosin with the tadalafil. The two of these help to relax the bladder making it easier to urinate. And of course the sides effects of the tadalafil are an added bonus.My PCP has advised me to put off any prostate surgery as long as possible. Revisions to these procedures is common place so many people will have to have it done again after a number years. Something to keep in mind.Of course, everyone is different!
