Well I did round two with Trimix with a very conservative 5 unit dose; it wasn't much different at all from the 3.5 unit dose that I did a couple of days ago, leaving me with a 7/10 erection that lasted about 40 minutes. That leads me to believe that I'll ultimately need 10-12 units or more to get where I want to be, which is a 9/10 erection. I hope it's possible. With regard to needle length, the experience was also much the same - I did the left side, slid in the 5/16" 30g needle and got resistance from the plunger. Pushing in further, so that the needle hub dramatically dimpled the skin, the plunger suddenly gave way. I figure I need the longer 1/2" needle. Now I'm quite an average sized guy, maybe just a bit more girthy, but not when flaccid. I'd think that most men would make a better bet by starting with the 1/2" needle. I've read that you don't have to push the 1/2" needle all the way in; you can leave 1/16" inch of the needle shaft (thickness of a dime) still showing near the hub. I've ordered some BD 29g 1/2" .5ml needles. I think they'll work well - the .5ml barrel is much easier to visualize the numbers, and BD's always seem exceptionally sharp. Will try injecting again on Friday, with 7-8 units.
