Hi, I'm married to the BugMan and will be posting more frequently than he. (got more time, I like the computer more than he does, and have more medical experience!). We both have been on and off the Testosterone replacement bandwagon. He's read here quite a bit in the past, so we thought it a good idea to join and share/glean new info and ideas from the forum. BugMan (hypogonadal) has had T pellets (testopel in 2013) and T cypionate injections (began in 2014 til this Feb., administered by me, the wife). He's currently OFF all T therapy and it's beginning to take it's toll on him. Another reason we're here. He developed polycythemia which was discovered in a scary trip to the ER with nausea, vomiting, dangerously high BP and dizziness. They ruled out neurological and cardiac issues but discovered the high hematocrit. He's had 4 therapeutic phlebotomies so far and is in normal range now. His anti-aging Doc (well known in this area for good, responsible T treatments) was arrested (long story) so he appealed to the family doc. The family guy is T-positive for the most part, but has declined to re-write BugMan's prescription based on his last labs and out of concern for high estradiol and the polycythemia. I think he has high estradiol again, and T levels might be too low (fatigue, lack of sleep, etc). So here we are. That's all for now...thanks for being here!
