Gel and injection combo

Does anyone use a combination of both Test Cyp and Gel? I am thinking about adding a little gel, maybe one pump a day, to my routine in order to raise my DHT levels a bit therefore hopefully increasing my not very strong libido. My Total T levels are fine on the injections as is E2 and all other blood work.

It's not recommended as it's very difficult to manage serum levels.

That said, a small dose of gel applied to your scrotum can do wonders for libido for some men.

Like Gene stated you will need a bit more titration, but eventually you should be able to find stability. When I worked at the pharmacy I got to speak with a handful of guys who did the cream/injection combo. Most to help with DHT after long term finasteride, and others maybe because they liked the effect.

The goal with topical T is to have a higher concentration so that you apply less, 200mg/ml Is usually the highest. Ask for a versabase cream which is the same carrier that compounders use for vaginal application, it absorbs into sensitive tissues very well and wont dry your sack like alcohol based gels will.

Start slow and low with the topical, and increase after confirming labs and if needed. 25mg is a common starting dose that I witnessed, probably depending on how much you are injecting. Follow up every 4-6 weeks until your levels are stable, and be sure to add DHT to the panel.

I started doing this about three months ago. My protocol now daily Androgel 1 pump morning/1 pump night and then Monday and Friday I inject 100mg test cyp, 250 iu HCG, and take 0.5 mg Anastrozole. Feeling really stable on this, and the addition of Androgel did wonders for my libido. That plus Cialis and I'm good to go pretty much all the time.

Total T per my last test is 1100, free T 58, haven't tested for E2.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I started out with injections, and then added Androgel to see if it would help improve my libido. Apparently there is some evidence that transdermal application raises DHT levels, which helps with libido. In my case, it did a little bit, but I can't really tell whether it's a psychological boost (e.g., it works because I think it will work) or a physiological result of higher DHT levels.
