Hey guys,I'm looking for a little advice here.So I have low T,128 total to be exact.I've tried every potion and elixir along with diet and weight training for a couple of months and no change. Finally decided to go to a low t center.First thing that put me off was the receptionist starting talking about payment plans before I even saw the Dr for advice.I'm self pay the way.Anyways the Dr wanted to start injections right away and run a few more tests, prolactin etc.I want to know the underlying cause,am I primary or secondary.I had been on propecia 1.25mg a day for two years which I suspect is/was the culprit. When I mentioned that as a possible cause she just stared at me and said no that won't do that although I've read many horror stories of guys trying to recover. The place just seemed so cookie cutter.Should I give it a go with a few injections or look elsewhere?

I used to go to Low T Center. I am now with Defy Medical. Very pleased with the treatment I receive. Low T Center is indeed cookie cutter and no HCG offered as well. I was not satisfied with them at all. I suppose Low T Center is ok for a temporary stop until you can find personalized and complete TRT care, but that's about all imo. Yes, they hire pretty girls and decorate the place with " manly " stuff. Money is a "big" subject there from my experience. They have legit docs, but the model is in and out and lacking customization. They also did not do the sensitive estradiol test during my time there.

I was quite perturbed once when I asked them to fill out a therapeutic phlebotomy form and they refused ! Maybe you would have better luck that I did. But, at that point I was already searching for an alternative, and thankfully I landed here and then Defy. Never looked back...

All the best, and I hope you have success with your TRT.

Totally concur with your views on Low T Center, the highlight above was the best part..."ok Stephen drop your pants"...Oh OK twist my arm...lol

I'm curious - did the doctors at the center you consulted warn you about Propecia, or was it on your own initiative that you discovered it to be a drug to avoid?

This is laughable. Docs really have no clue.

All on my own and feeling my symptons occurred shortly after starting on it.My PCP prescribe it to me.He was on TRT and mentioned it starting causing him hairloss so he started taking propecia and highly recommended it to me since alopecia runs in my family. The crazy thing is I went to him for something entirely different and walked away with propecia to boot.

Sexually I feel better being off it for a month. Before I could get an erection but it took a little work.I'm hoping to avoid trt for now and see if something else like clomid or hcg might work.I just don't have the money or patience to jack with Dr's that have no clue.
