Well, today was hopefully the start to a better me.its been a journey in just the way I ended up here, which was a simple go ogling of symptoms.

Any way,as expected it was kinda a trial and error, but I did it.dont laugh, but I couldn't figure out how to replace the 20 gauge needle, 1 inch long, for the 25 gauge!!needless to say, using a 20 gauge kinda hurt, lol.but I did figure out how to exchange it for next tues. Anyway,I hope someone got a kick out of it.

I started with 29g but was impatient waiting for the syringe to fill - it's pretty slow with the oil-based test. I switched to 27g and it's still pretty tiny, doesn't hurt, and is quicker to fill the syringe. Just my opinion.

Keep us posted! It's a learning curve, and you will learn exactly what works best for you in time.

FYI, most of the time, I pin 27g x 5/8" in the lower thigh. It's quick and virtually don't even notice it going in (not always lol).

I use the outer thigh too,as it's where I give my b12.

Question,is there data out there that shows what a particular dose will bring ones testosterone range too,or will say 160 mg give one person in the 800's,while another might just be in the 500's?

They are slow - what I do is take a 20 gauge and back fill them. E.G., pull the plunger out and fill with the larger needle. Its an extra step, though.

The problem is that everyone metabolizes a bit differently, and depending on which day you draw labs, most definitely one guy could be quite a bit higher/lower in comparison to another with an equal dose.

Now here's the real killer, and I don't mean to disappoint or tick anyone off, BUT Total Test Serum really doesn't mean anything, because I could have a Total Serum of 590ng/dl and have higher testosterone than someone else who is at 800ng/dl! It's truth! Free/bio available test is where the rubber meets the road, and the rest is tied up in SHBG & Albumin (weakly).

I have traditionally turned in 3.3% Free Test results. 590ng/dl at 3.3% is 19.47ng of Free Test. 800ng/dl at 2.2% (which would be perfectly normal in a lot of guys) = 17.60ng of Free Test. See my point? You definitely need the well filled up to a decent level, but the area that should be fixated on at the end of the day is the Free & Bio reading. Know that variable and how you feel, and IMO you will be able to manage your program much, much better!! BTW, 16 to 21 on Free Test is a good area where I feel best!
