The only way you know if it's working is by getting your sperm tested. The protocol for staying fertile on trt is different for everyone.

In theory if you are fertile before commencing TRT and add HMG using enough dosage and frequency to mimic before TRT LH and FSH levels your fertility should no be impacted. If you don’t use a high enough dosage or frequency (LH and FSH half life is very short so you have to inject frequently in order to sustain blood levels and optimal spermatogenisis) then your sperm parameters might be negatively affected but you might still be fertile.

Thanks for the reply. My count was tested several month ago and it was around 10 million trying to do a basic 'pct' protocol after three years of trt. Of course, hypogonadal symptoms followed. There isn't much concrete info about hmg+trt to look at. Actually your post of about achieving normal count with trt was one of the few ones I found!

10mm per ml or total? The reason spermatogenisis is affected on TRT is because the body stops producing LH (intra testicular testosterone production is halted) and FSH. So if you were otherwise healthy and fertile before TRT by adding HMG at the right dosage and frequency chances are yoy will temain fertile. However if you have been on TRT without HCG / FSH / HMG for a long time basically your leydig and sertoli cells are dormant and might have suffered from atrophy. In this case it might take longer to recovery fertility and maybe in some cases not be able to recovery.
