I went back to the Dr's to show me how to do the injections and find a safe dose. The first time they injected me to do the doppler study they gave me 0.6ml Trimix (I don't know the exact formula). That time I had a phenomenal erection (open-hole-to-wall kind of erection) that lasted too long. After two (or three) injections of phenylephrine nothing happened and we had to drain it with a hose (lol). The second time that I went to show me how to do it myself and find a safe dose, the RN said given the experience with Trimix we will try the Bimix at a low dose to be safe. So I injected myself with 20 units (0.2ml) of the Bimix. True, after few minutes I had an erection. It wasn't the same as the first one though. The gland was not that rigid and kind of bendable. Also, the penis wasn't fully erect where it points in one direction (up for me) and it's hard to change position. It was hard but was looking down, like hanging. Nevertheless, this erection lasted another three hours without signs of going down. After two injections of phenylephrine it finally resolved. So the RN said that the next try we will try the single ingredient drug. Did anyone have similar experiences? Any suggestions? It's good that I respond to the drugs, but I was really not satisfied with the erection I got the second time (even if it lasted long). I am afraid that it will be the same, if not worst with the single drug. The Dr and the nurse of course said that at home and with a partner my response will be different than in the office's sterile environment. Which might be true. But again, I can't take out of my mind that first erection with the Trimix.
