On two different blood test my TSH was over 5.4 so I scheduled an appointment with my GP. Kinda afraid he’s not knowledgable on the subject, or maybe he is. But I was wondering if anyone wants to give their input so that maybe I go to the doctor better informed.
Btw, I was also positive for too much TPO antibodies (possible hashimoto’s). And my TSH has been increasing gradually for several years now. I’ve attached my T3/T4 lab results.
- Based on my results, should I be on thyroid medication?
- If so, how much dosage should I start with?
- Is there a certain brand medicine I should use?
