Tablets are more prone to aromatase thru the liver to some extent, micronized capsules are less prone to this, TD has lesser chance still of aromatase, as does sublingual. What I found with compounded or OTC cream is that the OTC versus (LifeExtension?) is big blob of goo that leaves you feeling heavily moisturized and a compounded one is much less of a glob of goo, is usually more potent, too.
