I have been doing that for years. I take daily cialis and add viagra when I am planning sex. My doctor suggested this method and it works great. TRT won’t necessarily bring back erections, unless you are a younger guy. I am 66 in March and started TRT at 62 and my doctor told me this upfront. What TRT will do is give you the libido that will, in combination with pde5 inhibitors, will allow you to have strong erections. Are you having intercourse or are you masturbating? It’s a far different story if you are masturbating. To get an erection with a pde5, you need desire and that’s difficult without a partner, at least for me. Erections are determined by a lot of different variables and a partner can be the most important one. A new partner could cause anxiety, a partner you are not into, one who is critical, all can kill an erection even with the meds. Pde5s are not aphrodisiacs, they enhance your erections but not your desire. Testosterone will give the desire, but not necessarily the strong erection you want. For me, I don’t really enjoy masturbating and only do it if my wife is sick or unavailable. When I do try it is a lackluster experience, probably due to my lack of interest in it. You didn’t mention your age. I’d be careful if you don’t talk to your doctor. My clinic is Abraham Morgentaler’s in Boston and allows me to take daily cialis 5mg for prostate and up to 40 mg for sex. Recently his PA has suggested the daily cialis 5-10 mg in the morning and viagra 50 to 100 mg a few hours before sex. With the cialis alone you are always ready, but when the full dose is onboard intercourse is virtually never less than 30 minutes. If you are younger, such a large dose can be a problem. Don’t despair, there is a solution. And, don’t forget that your mind is probably 75% of the problem that you are having. Being married 32 years and having one partner for 33, sex has become an intimate experience to say the least. We work on it, communicate needs and desires and still have great sex almost every time. Good luck guy. You’ll figure this out.
