Cortisol is critical for your other hormones. If your too low it compromises your thyroid and TRT. So it's one of the first hormones that need to get verified. Unfortunately most primary care physicians only take cortisol serum level's from a blood test and those only show if you have Addisons or not... it dosen't show adrenal insufficiency.
