BUD for Injectable Supplements

I have a bottle each of Lipo-C and Tri-Amino with BUDs of early February that I haven't even begun to use. Does anyone know if the BUD is a literal expiration of the formula? Does the injectable begin to lose potency after that date? Thanks!
