[QUOTE="Ribeye, post: 276475, member: 43544"] Sorry I didn't see the above questions regarding P shots until now. A P shot is an activated platelet/growth factor injection. the doctors who do this, will draw a large tube of blood from you, put it in multiple tubes, and spin it down in a high speed centrifuge. It's not a lot of blood, just larger than a single tube. By spinning it down, they collect the platelets, and then draw them up into insulin type syringes, usually 5 syringes. They "activate" the platelets, by mixing in calcium (I think) and reinfect your own platelets into your penis at two shots on each side of the cavernosum, and one shot at the glans. Most docs who do these provide numbing cream or do a nerve block, so it's not too bad. immediately after they have you use a penis pump to draw blood into your penis and hold it on for 10 minutes at as much vacuum as you can't stand, not to exceed 10lbs of vacuum. They want you to use the pump every day for 10 minutes for a given period of time usually 6 weeks if I remember correctly. What it is supposed to do is help your penis grow new micro blood vessels, and heal the existing blood vessels smooth muscle lining with new healthy tissue. I did gain quite a bit of sensitivity, and a significant amount of girth either from the activated platelets or use of the pump or both. It became easier to get erections but I still needed help in keeping the erection long enough for sex. Would I do it again? yes. I am considering getting another one early summer. it did help.
