Blood vs 24hr urine testing

I'm just wondering how many here have gone the urine route, my current doc got me to do a 24 hr urine test and it showed that my testosterone levels were sky high and out of range (by urine), but with blood I was at 850 and just needed my estrogen managed. The urine testing does seem to be great for diagnosing adrenal fatigue and helping to dose pregnenolone/dhea though. I know Dr Crisler prefers urine testing, anyone have some experience with this? Cost is a big one, these tests are $325 :S
