Hi,

Was just wondering if some one could give me there thoughts on my blood tests. The prolactin was very high which has been checked again and is now ok. I’m 38 and have been looking at TRT due to feeling tired very poor recovery if I do manage to make it to the gym and general rubbish mood. I just want to check trt would be the right decision as I knows it a life long commitment once started and it’s not cheap.

Thanks in advance Sam

A high LH should see testosterone high normal, Free T is in the gutter. The fact that previous tests showed very high prolactin and now appears to be normal is suspect.

Pituitary problems can be intermittent.

If that first prolactin test can be proven a fluke, then you absolutely need TRT. Your bigger problems is finding a doctor that doesn't fixate of normal labs numbers, but also symptoms.

The fact is there aren't many men who feel normal with Free T low normal or even slightly below midrange, that's a statistical fact that shouldn't be ignored.
