BCAA's Beneficial? A Question for Will Brink

Glutamine very overrated and whey has highest BCAA content of any protein and has many other benefits. Other than perhaps some elite athlete really on the edge of their training trying to (maybe) eek out another 0.5% performance, BCAA are a waste of $, and whey the way (no pun intended) to go. :)
A question for Will. Would BCAA's be beneficial if I do fasted training in the AM ?

Odd, this post didn't come up for me. Just happened to be scanning the section and saw it. Per comments in post workout drink thread, whey contains highest levels of BCAA of any protein and has all manner of additional benefits. I'd do a scoop or two of whey. So far, BCAA data not all that impressive. Like glutamine, looks good "on paper" but does not translate to the real world it appears in all but a few areas. I consider BCAA a waste of $ at this time when there's whey which has stacks of data showing all manner of benefits.
