[QUOTE="JimGainz, post: 207300, member: 19127"] Personally I don’t put a lot of credence in animal studies when it comes to behavior. It’s very subjective. It reminds me of that study for MK 677/ Ibutamoren where it was found to increase fear and anxiety and causes negative brain behavior – the study was done on rats that were essentially starved and stressed out with loud music playing 24/7 - and given Ibutamoren and then performed slower than the control group in a maze. We all intrinsically know that the abuse of androgens will cause negative effects. Exactly what constitutes abuse/excessive amounts is also subjective. I can tell you that during the 80s I experimented with a lot of different cycles – and I was running test and deca at 250 mg each per week, all pinned on the same day, for about 16 weeks. I definitely had mood swings and a hard time concentrating - that was the same with any cycle. It was torture coming off because we didn’t PCT back then or knew anything about how this stuff works - or that it shut off our natural production. So we spent a few months wondering WTF was happening to us until our young bodies were able to recover. like most drugs there is a U- shaped curve in terms of benefits and side effects. Too little of the compound and you wonder what the heck is all the fuss about - too much and you wonder why you ever started down this path. over the years, I have had some of the issues mentioned in the article when I was dialing in my protocol - but I wasn’t even taking nandrolone. I was just going on HCG and Testosterone, then switching from gels to shots -and dealing with estrogen issues, and then also going on Thyroid medication (titrating up too fast before my own natural production was shut off and went Hyper thyroid). I’m on nandrolone and Test now. Occasionally, I have some anxiety thinking about work, or something going on in my life. Is it the nandrolone, or just me? Or is it from taking too much coffee before my thyroid pill (which also messes with me sometimes). I dunno. But I do feel my best taking test and nandrolone together (about 46 mg of each every 3 days) with no ill health effects - actually only improved blood markers. So I’ll keep at it for the time being.
