Yes. But if you disclose to your doctor that you sleep an incredibly short period of time, you are gumming up the works. They may try to put you on a sleep schedule or side step. Your job is to make sure that they don't think your issues are related to sleep.
It took a while but, I finally got my testosterone paid for by my insurance. This is a framework for how I was able to get on testosterone and the doc to be ok with it. This post is for people who have legitimate needs for testosterone only.....
Doctors aren’t stupid
Most docs know that men...
Hey again!
I just had labs done after switching to injectable testosterone after experience slow gains on the gel.
29 year old male
6'1
280lbs
Works out 4 days a week.
Started TRT in June with a low of 200 Total Testosterone and 35 free
Here is my protocol
1. 220 units of Test Cyp once...
My doc told me that I may need more because of my size, so I don't contest it. We haven't discussed much on estradiol The doc does all of the monitoring and I do the labs that he says. To be honest, I'm not too worried about it.
We tried the gel, I went from 205 to 265 and that was 2 months...
The doc has me at 200mg weekly injections. Since the gel did not work as well as I thought it would, in trying to track my results do I need to start over? I remember the charts that were posted said that it would be 12 to 16 weeks for me to notice any changes in my physique. & I do work out...
Nearly 2 months later I have gone from Total 205 to 260 and free 52 to 87.5 using gels
Yeah it is a 30% change but this is unacceptable given that my peers of my age have levels at 600 and above.
So now I will be moved to 200 mg every 2 weeks via injection... ugh. I hope this works... so far...
I am now on TRT.
I take a 10% testosterone gel daily
Tamoxifen once a week
And an HCG shot 2 days a week.
Out of curiosity, why would the tamoxifen be once a week instead of everyday?
I have decided to go with a different company instead of waiting the extra month. I will be put on a 10% Testosterone gel. Those come in the mail either tomorrow or tuesday. I will keep you all posted. Though many of you use injections, I still think the gel will work for me as at this point in...
I was just going to have my doctor write me a prescription after I have my labs verified. So it would be a clinic that takes insurance. I am pretty indifferent to either option. I just don't want to be spending any more than $100 a month on treatment. Especially if I am to be on this for the...
Mr. Vergel, I was simply going to go on Androgel upon start of treatment. I read so much about people taking the shots but my biggest concern is that I will royally mess up and poke something that I am not supposed to or draw the wrong levels. I had considered having the nurse do it, but I...
