For what it's worth, I ran a trial of clomid several years ago before going onto TRT and experienced mild eye floaters. Since January of this year, I've been on a restart protocol - enclomiphene 25mg only, and have had no eye floaters.
Starting to come back!
T - 415 (264-916)
FT - 8.5 (8.7-25.1)
LH - 7.3 (1.7-8.6)
E2, Sens - Pending
Glad to see the LH accelerate and hoping the T will continue to do the same.
Libido has slowly began coming back in waves. Responded well to Vardenafil a few nights ago which was a great sign...
Update here. Seems my body is finally starting to reset natural production:
T - 242 (264-916)
FT - 4.4 (8.7-25.1)
LH - they forgot to test, going back Monday
E2, Sens - 7.8 (8.0-35)
This has been a difficult few months. Primary complaint has been near-constant swings in body temperature...
Thanks for the response. I think we are largely saying the same thing. All of this aside, I do not have T2D and my blood sugars are very much under control. My diet is as good as it can get based on my lifestyle: I employ intermittent fasting (feeding hours 12pm-7pm), high healthy fat, high...
This has been a brutal couple of months. In early February with doctor's support I doubled the dose of enclomiphene (12.5 mg to 25 mg) and tested last week. Results came back essentially the same, although I guess LH roughly doubled in that time period:
T - 30 (264-916)
FT - Too low to result...
38M who has been on TRT + HCG for ~5 years or so. I wanted to see if I could restart production with the help of enclomiphene, as prior to TRT I had a great response to clomid but could not handle the estrogen related sides.
I started 12.5mg ED about a month ago, and just got back labs from a...
@The slice The single most contributing factor to my libido issues was ensuring my ADHD was properly treated, which I didn’t even know I had the condition until the pandemic hit and I was overwhelmed by work + family in same space.
I had erection issues literally because I was multitasking...
It is prescribed by Defy and I get it from Empower. I take 0.15 ml and it gives me rock hard erections for hours, but I can‘t stand the nausea. I’m more curious in why that works vs. PDE5s or anything else I’ve tried. It doesn’t increase libido as it is documented to; it just gives me raging...
I wanted to crowdsource some thoughts on erection issues I'm having.
Background
I am 33 years old, generally healthy
Started TRT at age 28 - after symptoms, discovered a pituitary tumor and T levels in the 100s. Ruled out primary hypogonadism.
TRT has done wonders for my physical appearance...
Are you on an AI? I've typically found that lake of orgasm is typically due to reduced penile sensitivity, primarily due to E2 that's too low relative to your T levels.
Update here - I can't seem to take PT-141 anymore. The last few times I took it, I became extremely nauseated and ended up vomiting (that does wonders for the moment).
That said, here is my question:
What does this drug actually do in my body? I ask this because this is the ONLY drug I take...
You may consider removing the AI and seeing where your body is able to calibrate E2 to. It will take a few weeks to see, and early on you’ll have some night sweats as E2 rises, but I’ve found E2 to be very important to libido and tend to err on the high side.
I have a pituitary tumor or cyst. Prior to TRT my T levels were in the low 100s. I've also had to replace thyroid as well. These treatment plans have been life changing for me but ED and libido has been a struggle throughout.
Have struggled with libido and ED despite a well tuned TRT regimen. Injected 1.5 mg of PT-141 at 5:30 PM today. The script says 1-2mg, so I went right down the middle. It took forever to work, probably 4-5 hours (script said 45 minutes) but it gave incredible and lasting erections with the...
Update here. My fasting insulin tested high, and we started metformin about a week ago. Not surprising considering my father has Type 2, mother and sister have Type 1.
Will post results as I have them - hoping it will drop insulin levels and I can lose some weight as I am in a good routine...
I have historically injected sub-q via the fat above my hips, but recently have been bruising a lot and bleeding there, so I began to inject sub-q in my quads.
I didn't connect the dots at the time, but around the same time began to feel like I had crashed my E2 as I could not get an erection...
Appreciate the comments here. I simply can’t believe the magic bullet is in any more adjustments on the food and exercise front. I’m candidly tired of all of the different perspectives (nothing personal here specifically, just in general). I eat healthy, minimal simple carbs, good proteins...
Funny you mention E2 as I’ve been have a plethora of other issues (ED and libido) that have crept up recently and I’m thinking we may have over done the AI.
Wanting to pick some brains here to see if there's something I'm missing. I am 35 years old, 6'2", 216 lbs and am on a stable TRT protocol due to a pituitary mass that left me with secondary hypogonadism 5 years ago or so.
I cannot seem to lose weight over the past year or so; in fact, my...
I appreciate all the comments here. I‘m not going to make significant dose changes until I connect with Saya as we’ve been working on this a long time, but it’s good to know where to be looking.
As an experiment, I skipped one night’s dose of T, but kept the AI. I try to not read into...
