You want to find the weekly dose that doesn't require AI. For most people this will be between 100-140mg every 7 days; even 140 is probably pushing it for most people. I finally got dialed in at 130mg every 7 days. This put me at about 535 trough, if I remember correctly and estradiol at low...
Rx means prescription. I'd need a pharmaceutical grade testosterone cypionate that my pharmacy will fill the doctor's order for. I want to stay away from cottonseed oil, as it's considered the most inflammatory carrier oil; I also want to stay away from grapeseed oil for similar reasons. When I...
Dragon Pharma is a UGL. I'm only interested in genuine pharmaceutical companies, such as Bayer that produces testosterone enanthate with castor oil as the carrier oil. But my question is for pharmaceutical companies producing testosterone cypionate by Rx using castor oil or mct oil.
Which pharmaceutical companies use castor oil or MCT oil as the carrier oil for their testosterone cypionate?
I'm trying to avoid formulations that use grapeseed or cottonseed oil, which is difficult to avoid.
Update: I decided to give the 30G 1" BD Precisionglide needles a try. And they work well. The injections are quite slow, but I don't have to use excessive force to push the plunger; quite easy, in fact (1ml syringes). And the difference in pain for the next couple of days around the injection...
Is that with 1ml syringes? The volume of the syringe makes a big difference in the pressure and thus needle sizes that will work to get the oil through. I once tried pushing oil through a 27G with a 3ml syringe and it was nearly impossible, with great strain and the prongs on the syringe bended...
Hello Community,
I'm about to purchase a new box of needles for my TRT injections. I've been using 27G, which has been much better than the 23G my doctor had initially instructed me to use. But with long-term test. injections, I want to use as small of needles as possible, to minimize scare...
Aim for pharmaceutical grade. For example, Bayer Testoviron is top-notch. Be careful and skeptical with UGLs...but if that's your only option stick with companies that have been around for a long time and have a sterling reputation: Dragon Pharma, Geneza, Alpha-Pharma, for example.
I highly recommend that you get pharmaceutical grade Test. E, if possible. For example, Bayer Testoviron (250mg/ml) is the best, in terms of accurate dosing, quality of raw ingredients, the carrier oil used, and sanitary standards, in my opinion. There's counterfeits out there, often coming as 3...
Thanks, Systemlord! Yeah, I've already stocked up on syringes and needles: 1ml syringes, 18g needles for drawing, and 27g x 1.25" for injections. But I'm thinking about getting 30g x 1/2 inch needles for shallow im/subq. I'm going to ask my doc to move to 100mg/wk, but starting next week I'm...
As I previously mentioned, 7 weeks after switching from androgel to test-c injections of 150mg/2weeks, my labs at 7 days post-injection (dr insists on midway rather than trough levels) came in at TT 319ng/dl with SHBG of 2; due to my misunderstanding doc wanted midway labs, I had just previously...
Your lipid numbers actually look quite good, with normal triglyceride level and a notably good HDL number; LDL is a bit elevated, but with those numbers and being in otherwise good health it's interesting that your doctor is pushing you towards taking a statin. It's also strange that your doctor...
I've heard that metformin can lead to increased SHBG, as well as vegetarian, and even better vegan, diet. But also that the keto diet can increase SHBG. More frequent injections will also help reduce crashing an already low SHBG. Good luck, fellow low-SHBGers!
No problem pushing cyp. oil through these 31g needles? And here I am on the fence, leaning towards going with 27g, concerned that a 29g might be problematic
Where does this protocol put your TT and FT and estradiol at trough, with what SHBG? Do you include any ancillaries, such as HCG and AI?
No problem pushing cyp. oil through these 31g needles? And here I am on the fence, leaning towards going with 27g, concerned that a 29g might be problematic. 29g, let alone 31g, sure would make daily or EOD injections easier to run with.
Wow, I'll look into this and discuss with my doctor! How long have you been taking it? What dose and what's your TT and FT on it? How about sides?
I really am not averse to needles/injections, though, so long as I can land on a protocol that gets me dialed in, hopefully not exceeding frequency...
This is all very good, helpful info! I understand your point on FT being the more important marker, and I'm hopeful to get to a protocol that puts me in a good spot, perhaps 25-35ng.
Regarding "Still too high a starting dose seeing as 120 mg T every 5 days would be 168 mg T/week," my rationale...
Thanks for the quick and great feedback, madman! Considering I'll be having to self-inject for the rest of my life, which will hopefully be many decades longer, I'd prefer to minimize frequency, balancing this with the parallel goal of keeping levels above 500ng/dl at trough and within 1200ng/dl...
Thanks Systemlord! I mistakenly wrote "one week after 2nd injection," when it is actually going to be one week after the 3rd. My first injection with the revised protocol of 200mg/2 weeks was 09/29, followed by 10/13, 10/27, and then labs on 11/03. Doctor has consistently wanted labs midway (not...
I'm a 43 year-old, diagnosed with hypogonadism nearly two years ago. My T level was tested several times, ranging from 60-250ng/dl, before the diagnosis was made. I was started out on 40.5mg gel, then increased to 81mg, but even at 81mg my T levels didn't exceed 250ng/dl. My endocrinologist...
